Bernette Funlock 48 Overlock/Coverstitch Machine

The bernette 48 is the top model of the Funlock series and combines the functions of both an overlocker and a coverstitch machine. With a total of 23 stitches—including overlock, coverstitch, combo, and chain stitch—this machine offers a wide range of options for professional-quality seams and finishes.

It features color-coded threading paths for easier setup and manual needle threading, while the lower and chain loopers include a mechanical threader. The adjustable knife operates from below, ensuring clean cuts and safe operation. Bright LED lighting enhances visibility in the sewing area, and a maximum sewing speed of up to 1,300 stitches per minute makes it ideal for efficient work.
